Is there any wear and tear sliders that work?

I loved playing with wear and tear. Rbs splitting carries was awesome.

The thing js my starting workhorse rb would be out after 8 carries and never see the feild again.

I turned wear and tear off, but want to try again. Any suggestions. Or is the feature just bustes for the 2nd year in a row.
