What’s your one non-generic islamic tip? Something you absolutely live by
My parents raised me and my siblings on istikhara. For anything and everything. I didn’t realize so many people just thought about doing it only in terms of marriage but you should do it before accepting jobs, before moving to a new apartment, before having difficult conversations, etc. Even if I’m not “on the fence” about something, I try to ask Allah for His guidance. I didn’t realize so many people don’t think of/approach istikhara like that and now I try to make a habit of recommending it to EVERYONE. And honestly I probably still don’t utilize it enough.
If you don’t know what to do, make istikhara. If you DO know what to do, make istikhara.
The best part is that if whatever path you choose is not good for you, Allah will continue to put up barriers that let you know. And if the path IS good for you, Allah will make things happen and open doors in the most unforeseen ways.
MAKE ISTIKHARA!
