We’re running a creative craft night in LIC and need one duo to join Sunday (free)

Hey all,

My wife and I host beginner workshops in Long Island City called Nervous to Handy (basic tool skills for people who’ve never used tools before).

Recently we started testing a different kind of event and it’s been surprisingly fun.

It’s called Craft Night – Cut, Paste, Sip.

It’s basically a relaxed collage night where two people come together (couples or friends), cut up magazines/photos/paper, and make something together. Music on, phones mostly down, drinks optional (BYOB), and no art experience needed.

We ran the first one recently and it went really well, but for this Sunday’s session we’re a little short on participants. Since it works best when there are a few tables in the room, we’d love to invite one duo (2 people) from Reddit to come for free.

Only catch: We’re trying to build photos for future promotion, so you’d need to be comfortable with us taking photos during the event. Details: • Sunday afternoon • Long Island City • About 2 hours • All materials provided • Snacks included • BYOB optional
