Self-help attorneys at District Courthouse

💗Quintessential in the battle against out-of-state slumlords renting historical properties they can't legally destroy, and refuse to repair. 'Demolition by neglect' is a scourge on our city, and it has so many health consequences for me and my fellow tenants. I've encountered so much retaliation after trying to engage criminally negligent slumlords, when my only offense was asking for what my lease supposedly guaranteed me. BUT the Help Center at the district court has been such a force for good, I can't say enough good about them helping me help myself. 💗
