The Heavy Bolt Pistol: a perfect addition

Ever since the introduction of the Heavy Bolt Pistol, I hated it. Why would you make a Pistol that big? Why not use the normal Bolt pistol? Whats the bloody point of it?

It was big, bulky, stupid and I hated it. Thats right, I fell for the old 'doesnt fit the name' hate.

Then i realised- the Heavy Bolt Pistol isnt a Pistol at all. Its a Boltgun. Its the classic boltgun that allows Primaris marines to weild bolter-like power and use a melee weapon at the same time. Suddenly, the foregrip, the long barrel and the tiny magazine make perfect sense. Call didnt upside the Bolt Pistol. He downsized the Boltgun, reducing it's weight in key areas.

Im embarrassed that im a fully grown adult and it took me nearly a decade to realise this. Hope others share in the joy of my revelation!
