How to not be forced to start the next round in the current mini game??

I read something earlier that said if we force close the app after we finish a round in Beat the heat mini game, the next time we open it we won’t be forced to collect our winnings and start the round. Is this true? Do I force close it while it says “done” where it tallies the coins? I would love to be able to finish a round and then come back into the app without having to collect my winnings and get right back into it.
