Custom work buzzkill

Just got 2 back from a really reputable shop and MAN they fucked my shit up. I’m not gonna put them on blast about it because they haven’t responded to the email I just sent BUT, they were doing a grip swap and fitting on my Bul Armory Tac pro 5” and porting and cerakote on my XL.

THEN they reached out to tell me that one of their guys blasted the Tac pro on accident so they asked me what I wanted for cerakote (for free) the dude cerakoted the shit out of the frame rails so all of the buttery movement that the Bul had before I sent it in is gone, it’s muddy and sluggish now. He also called an audible and cerakoted just the front half of the barrel black which is just plain strange.

The XL ended up with a 3 port cut instead of the 5 that was ordered and agreed, which is also a head scratcher. All of that real estate on the XL for a 3 port cut that’s like 3/4” front to back.

Wild stuff, I get a ton of custom work done, but the last two companies I’ve tried out for the first time have been on this type of shit, I don’t get it.
