Navigating losing weight while sick
I (19F) recently got pretty sick and spent about four days in bed. During this time I wasn't eating much and probably consumed less than two days of calories in the total four days. I lost about five pounds during these four days, and now I am 150lb (was 155 less than a week ago lol) and 5ft 7.5in.
I told my mom because she knows I've been trying to lose 5-10 pounds. She seems to think that as long as a don't "overeat" this should give me a "head start" on the weight I've been trying to lose. But I feel like since I was eating about 1 meal a day, continuing on my normal pre sick diet (but slightly cut back because I've been trying to loose weight), will regain those lost pounds pretty quick.
Anyone with experience or knowledge in this subject have any advice? Should I try to remain at 150- or is that not possible if I'm not starving myself or in the mist of a long term lifestyle change?
