Brain bombs only giving plus 6 intelligence with herbivore and strange in numbers equipped

So I was farming stuff to make brain bombs today and when I made them I noticed it only said plus 6 intelligence. I was confused so I checked and made sure I had my herbivore mutation and strange in numbers perk activated, which I did. So I was like huh, what am I missing, and I looked through my perks to see if something was giving me a negative effect. Then I noticed my “herd mentality” mutation was negative cause I wasn’t on a team. I join a team and boom, brain bombs now give me plus 7.5 intelligence. I guess not being on a team reduces the intelligence you get from brain bombs. So make sure you have herd mentality mutation and you’re on a team for that extra buff. Now I still am missing .5 intelligence that I should be getting from those brain bombs though, does anyone know what I might be missing?
