How do I land my first Shopify client as a freelancer?

Hey everyone! I'm Sushil — a Shopify theme developer with 3 years of experience. I recently left my full-time job to go freelance, but I'm hitting a wall when it comes to actually finding clients.

I'm specifically looking for advice on:

• Where to find Shopify store owners who need dev work (Upwork, cold outreach, Reddit, etc.)
• How to position myself with no freelance portfolio yet
• Any mistakes you wish you'd avoided early on

Would really appreciate any tips from those who've been through this. Happy to share more about my background if it helps!
