Hi everyone,

I built an open source VS Code extension that lets you browse and edit SQLite databases directly inside the editor.

The idea came from a simple annoyance: every time I wanted to inspect a \`.db\` file, I had to open a separate app and break my workflow.

So I started building a small extension that lets you work with SQLite without leaving VS Code.

It has grown a bit since then and is now used by 7,500+ developers.

Features:

• Open \`.db\`, \`.sqlite\`, \`.sqlite3\` files directly in VS Code

• Browse tables from a sidebar explorer

• Edit rows with a simple form interface

• Instant search across all columns

• Advanced filters (\`> 100\`, \`= John\`, \`\*text\`, \`!empty\`)

• Export to CSV, TSV, JSON, Excel, HTML, Markdown and SQL

• Undo / redo with persistent history

• Works fully offline (no telemetry)

The goal was to make SQLite feel like a native part of VS Code instead of a separate tool.
