Need help with spider found inside, cold outside, searched but info is confusing me, thanks :)

:bluehelp: Advice

Hi,

Have a jumper in my bathroom, was living in my ceiling fan, finally came out and I got it in a container just now. It's may snow next week, I'm in Oregon, but it's spring soon luckily so I I will keep it in until then.

What temp (and area) would be good to go by when i put it outside?

I don't have a lot of money I can spend to feed etc but I have a backyard and could look for bugs, could do a makeshift container etc.

What do people mean when they say not to use a top opening container? What could I use from average household type containers that would work? A basic plastic food container with tiny holes poked in?

I have sticks, moss (should it be dry or is wet good?), and how small should the enclosure be if I put in gnats or isopods (and how big, I assume not "potato bugs"). Are dried mealworms any good? I'm not a spider-carer normally, can you tell???

Thanks so much in advance!!
