Need advice: should I take the job?
I quit my job two months ago, it was meant to be the next step in my nonprofit career but it was a flop. I’ve been applying to lots of jobs, and yesterday I interviewed at a small business that literally picks up manure and turns it into mulch. Not what I want to do at all, I shouldn’t have even applied! They called today and offered me the position. It would be in office every day from 8-4, no remote/hybrid option, and the pay is $22/hour. My concern is that this will severely limit my availability to interview for a better job. I’m surviving off my savings right now, intermittently doing DoorDash, and I’m lucky to have a very supportive partner helping me. I feel truly lost. I don’t think I’ve ever turned down a job opportunity. What should I do?
