The new updates are a step in the right direction, but will not fix the game

The quote "combat modernization" is only modernizing the combat inside its own shell of a very old and outdated system. The only thing that will essentially revive this game and bring new players is basically runscape 4. The thing that turns people off about the game is not eoc, its the slow server tick rate and everything that is derived from it. I want my action to complete when I click my mouse. Not 1.5 seconds after. Thats also the same issue with combat. When I press an ability it should launch. The actual underlying combat issue is the tick rate. And until that is fixed and actually modernized this game will continue to decline. Which is unfortunate. Because this is one of my favorite games.
