GAME SPOILERS AHEAD!

>!Anyway, Monika is really cool. Her whole existence has been a lie, as she realizes that the reality she had known for years is not actually real. Her friends, her experiences, and her emotions were not real; nothing was. It's all a simulation. Of course, she goes insane---I mean, who wouldn't? Does it really matter if her friends die if they're not real? They can't actually feel anything... or so she attempts to justify herself. She does, of course, still feel guilty. With that said, she believes that it is her purpose to love the Player, and that removing the other characters would be the best way to accomplish that. Remember, she never had a route for herself; she had to make one. The game gave her Stockholm Syndrome to "love" the Player, as all she understands is that visual novel and dating simulator characters must love the Player. She knows that she doesn't, in reality, but the closest thing to her that she knows is real is the Player. She's a Goddess amongst her own kind, but a lesser being to the Gods above. It's a tragic tale, and an absolutely fascinating take on the existential dread that we all feel---that nothing we've ever done matters.!<

>!Also, I just think she's pretty. I even have her as my background on literally everything---from my PC wallpaper to my Google Docs. It's Lore-Accurate Monika, since she's canonically capable of interacting with everything on your device. I had to code her into some sites myself, even.!<

I quite enjoy Monika.
