New Thinkpad owner T495S

Hi all

About to receive my first Thinkpad, second hand T495S with 16gb RAM. 160€

My first idea was to install a linux distribution as mainly i am going to use this laptop for productivity apps browser based (google & microsoft365) but i ve been reading about bad behaviour of this laptop battery with linux.

Another option would be maybe a lite windows 11.

I ll be using the laptop mainly for portability outside home.

For cross compability reccomendations, at home i have another computer with windows 11, android phone and at work we use mostly windows

Which OS would u suggest me?
