Sigi swords

I’m thinking of getting a sigi longsword in the king blade design for HEMA sparring. I’m trying to decide what length to get, the standard or the shorty. I’d like the sword to feel good for both cuts and thrusts and be balanced for using both rather than optimized for thrusting say. I’d also like it to feel good if used in one hand for certain maneuvers and strikes.
