Recos on collaborative family attorneys for prenups that have free consultations?
Hey bitches!
About 3.5 months out from my wedding date and looking for an attorney on the reviewing side of a prenup.
I fully expect this to be collaborative but I'm finding most well rated attorneys in the bay area seem to be structured to head into a f*ckng war and charge as such, which seems.... excessive. I get it for divorce negotiations, but not for a collaborative prenup.
My partner, who's drafting, is sitting on self made money from his job as an investor in funds that allow him to put money directly into funding rounds, and well made personal investments... Because of his fund & vesting structure, it's a bit more complicated than a typical FE employee, but it's not wildly complex networth and it's certainly not "Bay Area rich" numbers. Like we're putting off buying a home cause even with a large contribution to a down payment from him we would wanna stay under $1.5M.
I would love some bitchy/witchy help in finding options that aren't catered to bay area CEOs and shit.
I've ruled out two firms that have too aggressive or "the full firm and managing partners are working for you" approach, which I think is extremely unnecessary when neither one of us are old money, neither one of us have millions of dollars of net worth, and have a great relationship and communication.

Fenchel Family Law -- amazing reviews, women owned, but they told me that a managing partner, associate attorney, and paralegals would be involved in the review of my prenup (wtf), charge like $500 for a consultation with the attorney (wtf), and have an "evergreen retainer" structure where the retainer of 10k can never fall below 5k, so they'll keep charging your credit card 5k amounts everytime it drops (wtf - my credit card limits are around 10k a card, so I guess I would need to put at least a couple credit cards? lmao)

Schoenberg Family Law Group -- fairly good reviews etc, but they specialize in COMPLEX cases and make it known. They have weird marketing wording from their intake coordinator about how they're basically guaranteeing to "win". They also have a 10k retainer on the reviewing side -- unsure on if they also have an evergreen structure cause their email kinda spooked me so I didn't book an official intake form.
The structure I loved that I wanna get closer to was an attorney that had a flat fee of $6.5k for review and gave me a free 15 min consultation. He has GREAT reviews in Yelp, is down to earth, and would be the only attorney working on the prenup.
Would anyone have recos on family attorneys with a flat fee structure that have a free consultation?
