Help with Everything Presence Pro

I got two of these and been using them but I don't know how to make most out of this thing.

Like you'd think it should be able to detect me and my pets (dog and a cat), it only detects me as an object, not for my pets. But it does think the place is occupied when my dog/cat are present w/o me.

There's like zero documentation that I can find to be able to use/configure this thing, I don't know how to start.

And I bought this thinking I can detect when I fall asleep which I think the new aqara claims it can do, shouldn't this thing be able to do that as well? any help would be appreciated.

Lastly, it seems like it doesn't really have frequent updates? Like I installed this thing at the beginning of the year, pretty sure there's been zero updates to date which feels concerning.

Please advise.
