Trying to find a good artist

So i have a piece I want to sleeve out my arm. Ive been looking for an artist on TT and there are plenty in my area. I have a lot of questions to ask them like how many sessions will it take? Have they done animals, where they're located, how can help arrange my piece, etc. What im finding is that they dont respond at all OR when they do respond, they ask no questions about the tat, but straight to "let's book you for the session" . It just so feels so rushed. Like buying a car with a pushy salesperson.
I dont like being rushed into anything much less a permanent thing i will wear everyday for the rest of my life for all to see. I dont want to regret it once.

Is this normal behavior for a tattoo artist nowadays or am I just being too old school?
