How to get an online job
I’m a first-year university student on a pretty tight budget. My monthly allowance isn’t much, and I’m not allowed to work outside because of family rules (I’m a girl), so I’ve been trying to find a way to earn money online instead.
The problem is I honestly don’t know where to start. I don’t really know how people find legitimate online jobs, what platforms are trustworthy, or what skills are usually needed. A lot of things I see online look like scams, which makes me hesitant.
I’m willing to learn a skill if needed. If there’s something that could realistically lead to remote work, I’d be open to studying it for months or even a year before applying for jobs.
I’d really appreciate any advice:
• Where do you find legitimate online jobs?
• What beginner-friendly skills are worth learning?
• Are there trusted platforms for beginners?
• Are there any niche or fun online jobs people don’t usually talk about?
