What is the max amt of rec letters I should send??

I am nearing the end of Junior year and I am having trouble deciding all of my rec letters. I have a bunch of great choices from teachers I have built genuine, strong connections with and also other mentors outside of school as well.

What is the recommended amount of recommendation letters I should have for college apps?? Is 2-3 teachers/2-3 outside of school mentors good or is that too many? At what point does it become redundant?

These people are all very diverse too as well (DC lit, AP calc, volunteer leader, research prof, radiologist) so that’s why I was asking because I was hoping the letters would all be unique.
