3 Alcoholics
Currently dealing with watching a THIRD family member go through alcoholism. Two have already admitted their problem and gotten clean but the third is in denial. They are off three days a week and get absolutely HAMMERED on their days off, starting to drink when they wake up. By the end of the day they will have had 8 or possibly 9 tallboy white claws or the equivalent.
They *ALWAYS* end up terrorizing everybody around them by getting extremely angry and paranoid, ranting and raving about some nonsense, often breaking down crying before they pass out. When they are told about their behavior they say they are sorry and blah blah blah but I've HAD it. They get SUPER close to being violent and the same cycle has been repeating for years and is getting worse.
They don't think they have a problem because "they don't drink on the days they work" *SUPPOSEDLY*
After seeing two other family members struggle through alcoholism I have zero patience for the behavior. It's going to take them messing up their lives for things to change, as once they start drinking they don't listen to anyone. This person is barely 30 btw. Sorry for the long post, have to get this off my chest.
