What a relief

I had to go see a PCP before my hysterectomy next week because my EKG came back abnormal. I was worried sick they’d postpone my surgery. Well he was super nice and down to earth, spent most of the appointment talking about what TV shows he recommends I binge watch to get out of my head about the surgery. Surgery is a go for next Thursday. He said what the EKG showed was a fast or out if synch heartbeat and he’s not worried about it because they’ll be monitoring my heart at the hospital anyway. I did have to do a dementia test. Draw a clock and remember 3 words which was easy since I’d rather be doing that than this, beach, banana, sunset. The nurse and I agreed we’d both rather be sitting in a beach eating a banana watching the sun set than doing this. But that’s all that test was, that and the clock. Kids today would but pass the clock one. He says everything else looks ok and there’s some stuff I’m past due but nothing important at this point but the surgery. Whew.
