How can I prep for the 9th grade SHSAT 2026?!

So I got my results the other day and absolutely bombed ( i got a ~470 🥲 ) but I dont really mind. I am currently looking into taking it again during 9th grade, and apparently 2026 SHSAT is going to be adaptive and during the test you can not go back to check questions ( so whatever answer you put down it is final and you can’t change it and im pretty sure this only applies to the math section im not sure about the ELA ) im trying to aim for a ~600 and/or a score that can guarantee a spot somehow in Bronx Science or Brooklyn Tech. I am very lost on how I can prepare, because it is already huge step from the 2025 SHSAT If you have any tips please let me know and what will be tested too!!

note — I don’t mind the school I am going to attend, I would just like to being a more STEM ish focused school with some competition !
