SMC for Housebound but attempting to work?

I have a 100% MH rating and SMC for housebound. I am attempting to work but I don’t know if it’s gonna pan out. At what point do I need to call the VA and let them know I’m attempting to leave the house for employment. Who do I contact and what form of contact do I use? Again it might not last the first day. I don’t know.
