Am I responsible for a balance my former roommate filed to pay?

Location: utah. A former apartment I lived at has served for debt collections (last month of rent + fees), however upon reviewing my case with the court online, I see the co-defendant agreed to a payment plan for the full amount. Am I still required to set up my own payment plan for this same balance? If not, how can I file with the court to have this closed, as I was served 2 months after the co-defendant filed to pay.
