Having doubts about LumiMeds

I have been using LumiMeds since July and it was a decent experience until about two months ago. I was very close to my goal weight (15lbs away) on 15mg. They moved me down to 13.5mg, which wasn't communicated to me at all in advance. I wasn't too concerned, my weight loss stopped but I thought it would pick back up.

Then the following month they moved me down to 2.2mg with zero warning. I wrote to the doctor and he basically said that's protocol, and if I don' like it I can discontinue. So I trusted their word and in three weeks I gained 20lbs!

I would understand if I was eating more and stopped exercising. But I am a life long dieter, I eat clean, track my macros and exercise five days a week. This medication has really been the key to my success and I plan to stay on forever. I did plan to start to taper off after I reached my goal but this seems like I am just wasting money. I lost at a pretty normal rate,1-2lbs per week early on and .5 when I got closer to my goal. Gaining so much really has me devastated.

I am thinking I should switch to another company that is better at helping you taper down appropriately. I started at 220, got down to 142 (now back up to 162) and just want to reach my goal. Has anyone had this experience getting cutting off before they reach their goal? Which companies are better at getting you to maintenance? I am considering Refills or BigEasy
