Short men are the most oppressed group of people in America

In most areas of society, openly making fun of someone’s physical traits is considered unacceptable. Weight, race, disabilities, etc. are generally understood to be things you shouldn’t mock people for. But height, when it comes to men, still seems like one of the last traits that people openly ridicule without much backlash.

You see it everywhere:

-Dating apps where women filter out men below a certain height

-Viral tweets and TikToks mocking short men

-Movies and TV using short male characters as punchlines

-Casual jokes like “he must be 5’6” whenever someone acts insecure

What’s interesting is that height is almost entirely genetic and outside someone’s control, yet it’s treated like it’s fair game. There’s even research showing shorter men earn slightly less on average and are less likely to be seen as leaders compared to taller men.

Obviously there are many forms of discrimination that are far more serious. But have you guys ever stumbled across the other short subreddits? These men are literally talking about their day to day lives and how it’s hard to not want to literally put one in the chamber. It’s actually barbaric how these men are treated. A certain gender has effectively destroyed this generation of young men and wonder why the Andrew Tate stuff is so popular. Hell, it’s even gotten so bad that the average height subs are on the same sh*t. Literally talking about how they feel worthless because they’re not 6 feet tall. I don’t blame them, every time I open up social media all I see is sh*t about women discussing height and it’s a bunch of land whales saying they need 6 foot. Not to mention that one social experiment they did in China (if you know you know). It really exposed the barbaric nature of certain people who have a certain extra letter chromosome.

It does make me wonder why is height based mockery one of the few forms of body shaming that still seems widely accepted? Curious to hear people’s thoughts and experiences. My theory is it doesn’t f*cking matter because they’re men. It’s actually a really evil time to live in as a man. Like is this punishment for the oppression back then? WHAT IS THIS? SOME PLEASE HELP ME!! IM ACTUALLY LOSING MYSELF!
