What are some hair-care “rules” you don’t follow?

For me it’s not brushing while wet. I have straight, really long, fine but thick-ish hair. If I didn’t completely detangle/brush it out after a shower it would dry as a frizzy rats nest. No matter how much conditioner I use or how gently I shampoo, it’s just not feasible for me. I haven’t really noticed any breakage either so 🤷🏻‍♀️
