How much money should I bring to a semester study abroad trip to Bangkok, Thailand?

I’m studying abroad in Thailand for the 2026 fall semester and I’m not sure how much money to save up. I’m staying at the dorms near campus and will have a meal plan added to my bill (about 15 meals per week). Aside from lodging and food, how much should I expect to spend for three and a half months? I’m expecting to spend money on occasional restaurants, shopping, night life, and other random living expenses.
