My SWU redemptions for 2025-2026

As people are deciding what redemptions they want before the March 31 deadline, I thought I'd share my 6 SWU redemptions for the past year.

• JFK-LHR 777-300ER - June | Mon | cleared 1 month out (~2 weeks after booking). Domestic SFO-JFK cleared 24 hours out. Rebooked on BA J after IRROPs.
• LHR-ORD 787-9P - July | Mon | cleared at gate to Flagship Preferred Suite. Domestic ORD-SFO segment didn't clear. Last person to clear.
• LHR-SFO 777-300ER (BA operated) - Oct | Fri | cleared 1 week out. J > F.
• LAX-AKL 777-200 - Jan | Wed | cleared at gate. Last person to clear.
• LAX-SYD 777-300ER - Feb | Wed | cleared 28hrs out (a few hours after booking). Domestic SFO-LAX cleared at gate.
• SYD-LAX 777-300ER - March | Wed | cleared at gate. Domestic LAX-SFO cleared at gate. Last person to clear.

I had 100% success rate for my SWUs, but I also did base my routings on the current loads and my personal opinions on what routes I thought I had best odds. I did adjust one return flight by a day to maximize my odds and enjoy an extra day of vacation.
