Warehouses wait time?

Alr, I'm probably just being impatient but I'm also curious. Once your order is sent to a warehouse, around how long does it take for it to officially start being shipped to you? Is it possible for it to start being shipped during a weekend or is it a business day only type deal? Sitting at around day 2 for me, trying to kill time in the meanwhile.
