Staying put at the ice cream shop - afterall ...because the grass ain't greener on the other side

Venting!!!

So my current job is by far the lowest paid job ive ever had in a hot minute and I only took it cause I have bills due! So last week I wanted to get out of this rut and apply elsewhere and ive had empty promise fuckin interviews and opportunities. Basically I attended a interview for Ann Taylor and the mgr said she wanted me but she hired someone b4 seeing me for my interview 🙄🙄

So she told me she'd be in touch with me and she would put me on her schedule if full time comes available. We'll today she called me and she had the nerve to say she had ft open but hired someone else and was calling if I wanted any part time shifts. I said sure and told her my current schedule and she says nope cant do that day for u.. nope cant do this day and im thinking wtf was the point of calling me then wtf.

Get off the phone and im like fuck it im just gonna stay at the ice cream shop for a year and just chill here. Job market sucks anyways.. unfortunately so yep..
