Microphone volume auto-adjusting in windows

Anyone else have an issue with Marathon auto-adjusting the microphone volume in windows randomly? I already disabled exclusive control mode on my mic in windows but it still messes with it.

Only solution I found was to select a different input device in the in-game settings but then I can't use voice chat obviously. Would love any advice thrown my way
