🥹SURRENDERED IN HORRIBLE CONDITION TO A HIGH K\*LL SHELTER FOR “MOVING.”

5 year old Great Dane Bruno was just surrendered along with Sagen in kennel 19 because their owners are moving & “can’t take them with.”

Bruno is severely emaciated — you can see nearly every bone protruding. A dog this large doesn’t end up like this overnight. Underfeeding an XL breed is neglect & abuse. So is overfeeding, which is what happened to Sagen.. He’s obese.

All they shared is that he is dog friendly & already neutered.

Now Bruno is cramped inside a tiny kennel all by himself. There is no play yard for exercise or socialization with other dogs.

He will get no exercise, bed, blanket, enrichment, toys — nothing. Just cold concrete & a steel cot while dogs bark nonstop around him.

If he gets sick or has parasites, he will not get meds, dewormer, or vet care. When space runs out, dogs are unalived without warning — 11 dogs lost their lives there last week.

Bruno is already in a fragile condition. The shelter is the last place a dog like him should be.

Please help us get him out to a capable forever or foster home & rescue before it’s too late.

‼️I AM A VOLUNTEER, NOT THE SHELTER‼️

🙏🏼This shelter does NOT have a foster program. Rescues need a committed local foster & pledges help too. Reputable rescues cover expenses.
