moving from WA to TX

my family & i (me, my husband, our son, & our daughter) are thinking of moving from the Seattle area to the DFW area.

we both have been in WA our whole lives, and have watched it become increasingly expensive. it feels absolutely impossible to get ahead here. my husband works in telecommunications (estimator) & i am a SAHM to our littles. he currently makes $70k here in WA but everything is so expensive here that it isn’t livable anymore.

anyone here live in TX? do you like it?
