what are some controversial aspects of the quran?

I would like to know as ill be honest i’ve never really had an interest in islam. I was just forced to practise it my entire life without really understanding it which could have contributed to why I don’t resonate with it but lately ive been seeing so much controversial things in the quran that I never knew, like about the sex slaves and prophet muhammad and aisha. can somebody explain to me what verse in the quran made them look at the religion and was like “wtf I gotta leave”
