Follow up on the doctor trying to revoke POTS diagnosis

Vent/Rant

Following up on the post I made a couple of weeks ago about the EP I saw, saying that my tilt table test was negative and I didn't have POTS, despite what the actual results and my last cardiologist said. He said that I did not have vital sign changes to support POTS, which is false. So I asked for clarification, and all I got was that he feels as though it's not positive and that I can get a second opinion. I asked him to explain it to me. Why does he think it's not POTS? Is it something else, did I not meet certain criteria, etc? No response for weeks, despite following up and calling.

Finally, one of the nurses called me today, and from what she said, it's clear to me that this doctor thinks you can't have POTS if you don't have low BP issues. Seems to be confusing it with OH, because although I had the increase in HR, my BP didn't drop, and that's why he says it's negative...So anyways I will be getting another opinion so I can get the treatment I deserve. I have an appointment with a new cardiologist next month. I got many recommendations for her from a POTS support group on FB. I'm glad I don't have to deal with this EP anymore and will be seeing someone who actually knows how to help.
