Plausible reasons for not receiving ANY mail for two weeks?

I normally don't get much mail, but we seem to be the only ones who haven't gotten any mail in our apartment complex, not even junk mail. I do have a roommate and they do take out any junk, but there are times they don't and I usually find it sitting there. besides my roommate possibly taking my mail, is it possible that a previous tenant set up mail forwarding for the entire address? or that USPS is just that delayed? in the past i've received mail within 3 days at this address, which is why i am suspicious that there is something going on. I have 2 things that were supposed to come, one was an acceptance letter and another was a W2 sent from my parents house. Neither have been received. I am going to try to catch the mailman next week when I'm free, but would my local post office have any idea about mail coming to my house? I am trying to set up informed delivery so I get emails, but they have to MAIL me a code because my number couldn't be used?
