Is there anything I need to know?

Hi everyone! This is my first post here. I’m 17F and for a long time I was a healthy weight (5’4, 130lbs or 59kg) After changing homes I lived with an unhealthier household and over time gained a lot of weight. I hit 209 (99kg), and looking back on where I was, I felt unhappy with myself but also so unhappy that I wasn’t motivated to do anything about it. I don’t think I’m ugly, but I feel that I could do better and want to take care of myself, and in doing that maybe I’d FEEL better. So I finally decided to commit for real, and I am super excited because I believe I’ve already lost 2 lbs since I started about 4 days ago (is that bad?)

That was just my intro, but I have a lot of questions and concerns and I’d love for people in a community like this to help me rather than googling.

  1. For me, what’s a good calorie intake? — I am currently doing ~1100, but I heard that that was not a good idea and pretty low. I’m not very active yet so I was wondering if that’d still be bad for me?
  2. Will the being hungry go away? — Maybe the placebo is getting me, but when I started I’d be pretty hungry in between my meals because I had a bigger appetite. It feels like I’m getting less and less hungry in between the timeframes, will it go away and will my appetite adjust or is something wrong?
  3. What do I do if I don’t really like veggies? — I don’t mind carrots really, but other veggies either taste bad or the texture makes me sick. Idk if it counts, but I like peas! Is this ok to not eat that many veggies as long as I keep track of macros? Or are they essential?
  4. Are there good healthy meals for picky eaters? — And where to find them!!?

Thank you guys in advance! I hope this isn’t a lot to read.
