It's so frustrating every time I want a new frame I go through the same issues. 99% of what's out there doesn't look good and doesn't fit me/ is too big, looks too severe and heavy and overpowers my features. I wear glasses daily and I like fashion and want them to be stylish and trendy, not just blend it. So I naturally gravitate towards the designer brands that have something special on them, I like fun colored earpieces, little metal accents, logo details etc, just something that makes it look more high end than reading glasses from the drugstore. But I don't know if it's just my face or they're all designed for bigger faces or my features are just too severe on their own so it doesn't work for me, but none of them ever work. I much prefer the look of opaque plastic frames as I feel they look more modern and youthful, over clear (which I hate) or metal (which I find give a more aging/ mature look). But I can't find a pair like that from a high end designer that actually fits my face. The ones sized right for me are only small very basic boring frames from optical-only labels, or the occasional Kate Spade or Vera Wang which I don't love. My prescription is expensive so I also want a good quality frame to last longer.

I've attached some styles to show what I gravitate towards, and what I mean by how overpowering they all end up looking on me :( maybe there are unicorn brands or styles I need to look at??

Women with small faces: have you found chic, TRENDY designer frames that fit??
