What's the dating scene like?

I've never gotten into dating due to being a trans man. (To be fair I've never had a crush any way) I always told myself that as I grow up and get on hormones and get surgeries I'd be finally able to date people without the worry of them either being a chaser, seeing me as JUST a trans person, or seeing me as a woman. But that has sort of changed now after realizing how much genitals matter to a lot of people. Queer men or straight women won't like me. There are bisexual or pan people of course, but that still worries me on how I'd be seen.

I just don't see a future where I'll truly be living as a guy dating a woman or a man. I'll always be considered trans or a type of woman.

How is it actually in the dating world. Are you people actually finding others? How do you even go about doing it without the risk of danger? I'd hate to find someone nice and then have them freak out after realizing I'm trans. Because I know at some point they'd probably want to get into my pants or something. 🤷‍♂️

Having a boyfriend or girlfriend to go camping with, hiking, gardening, taking them out to a rerestaurant, giving them gifts, watching movies together, etc... Seems like a dream. And it breaks me at the thought that I'll never be able to do that just because I'm trans.
