Why am I not getting into any honors colleges

I got into all my safeties, but no honors college for any of them? I got into a reach of mine though, which is more competitive I think than some of the honors collges? My SAT is 1440 which is admittedly a bit low, and 4.52UW GPA, and admittedly my essays weren’t that passionate about the schools, but is it really just because they didn’t think I’d be a good fit or something? Or is it just that my stats aren’t high enough for honors? If so, how did I get into my reach which has like a 1500 avg??? Any ideas or is it just because I have bad luck.

I don’t really care about my safeties now that I got into a reach that I really like, but it’s making me nervous for all my other reaches. I got deferred from UVA and UMich and I do rlly want to get into at least one of my T20 apps (cause the reach that I got into apparently isn’t considered one), but the rejections from the honors colleges aren’t giving my much hope.
