Sugar Tower

NSFWCommentary

Back in '24 I told my SGF I'd cover the rent directly of any one bedroom apartment in the city (NYC). I even introduced her to one of my ex-girlfriend's from college who is a residential real estate broker to help my SGF find a place a negotiate a lease.

She toured around and settled on a lovely place that's has a monthly rent that twice the mortgage of my kids' six bedroom house down south. 😜 It's got a fantastic gym and sauna and they must pipe Jo Malone through the vents because it smells awesome.

It's her place (I'm just the guarantor), but sometimes I get lucky and we end up back at her place.

...

Anyway, the more time I spend there, the more I'm convinced the at the building is specifically zoned for sugar girls.

Except for a handful of mainland Chinese grad school boys and that one annoying Goldman Sachs associate that takes calls at full volume on the stationary bike to boast how he's on the fast track, every resident in the building is a supermodel looking girl that lives alone or with her equally gorgeous and flirty bestie. These girls are always dressed with precision and look like they are living their best life effortlessly. And whenever I do see a guy in the building, it's because these girls are either showing their dad around town during parents' weekend on campus or, of course, sugar.

Everytime I get into the elevator with one of the residents, I am 100% certain they are assessing my POT-ness.

...

The other night, after trying Eleven Madison Park for the first time since they added meat back on the menu (the lobster was great, the duck didn't live up to the hype), we headed back to her place and jumped into the elevator with another younger girl and older guy.

The girls started complementing each others' outfits with the standard "OMG, I love your such-and such ... where did you get that? ... I love that place ... " And then the other girl turned to her guy put her hand on his chest and said, "You're definitely going to get me one of those." while she bit her lip.

The guy turned to me and asked point blank, "how long have you been her sugar daddy?" I'm not sure if he was just joshing around or if was obvious, but I just jumped in and responded, "we just had our third Valentine's Day a last month, so she's been my sugar bab—". My girl interrupted and corrected me "sugar girlfriend ...". I resumed "sugar girlfriend, for a while now."

The guy laughed and he turned to his own girl and said, " I'll get you one if we keep this arrangement going for three years."

Then the elevator pinged, everybody gave their customary elevator goodbyes, and we parted ways.

...

I've never been called out so directly by another sugar couple, but it was kind of fun.

...

Also, the traffic to JFK was horrendous and I missed my flight out of NYC so I'm killing time.

There is no TL/DR.
