Removing air vent covers

Ugh so I have/had mice living in my 2016 Rav 4. The mama mouse jumped out of the vent twice while I was driving and we just recently trapped her. I am aware of at least one baby in the vents. We vacuumed out the cabin air filter area where her nest was but assuming she built another in the vent airway afterwards.

Is it possible to remove the driver and passenger vent covers without removing the dashboard? We went through the engine area and removed that cover but it does seem she got in through there. That’s also been covered with a screen now.
