Is this not crazy?

My brother and aunts were having some kind of fucked up conversation about god and afterlife blah and blah and my aunt was like. "If God does exist and I am a good human person then why do people backstabbing me?"

My brother was like "we are only here to serve Allah. So I have seen that whenever I get to close to someone other than this fictional being (my words hehe) I have seen that Allah takes away this person. Because I give them more attention. So now I don't get close to anyone because Allah will take them so I only talk to them"
