Is it ok for me (non muslim) to attend a paid iftar?

Hello, there is an iftar coming up in my city and I would like to attend to support, as the proceeds go to relief in Sudan. I am admittedly not very knowledgeable on Islam, and I don't want to make anyone uncomfortable by showing up. Thank you everyone in advance 🙂
