Really funny and entertaining interview. I might be in the minority but Tommy is one of my favorites from the rookie cast this season (him and Ben). I love his “boy next door” energy, and his stand-up about his family and everyday life is great. You don't survive growing up in a massive family of 8 kids without having a clever and conversational sense of humor.

For someone coming from stand-up, I think he’s integrating into sketch pretty well. He mentioned he was a theater kid growing up, and you can tell he’s comfortable performing. It was also nice hearing how humble and grateful he seems for the opportunity, plus the random little stories he brings up about his life.

I also think he’s someone people should give a little time to. The cast right now is stacked with great veterans, so it’s naturally harder for rookies to break out right away. But he seems like someone who could become an important presence in future seasons, and he also seems like he gets along really well with people behind the scenes.
