Miyoo mini plus

Hello. I have i belive the newer mini plus, I love this device but one thing is really bothering me. My left right and down being the worse, is just weird. I can physically watch as I press these down and you can see the pad going down but nothing will happen. You just really have to push down on the edges of the pad for it to register. Is this a known issue as I know these pads are typically mushy. I opened it up and popped two screws through the board where previous models had screws but now dont but left the holes and it helped for 2 days and its back to hardly registering. I suppose I'd like something with a lighter click. Does an upgraded d pad fix this issue? I almost want to return it for something different but I love onion and that os isn't available on others. Any help is appreciated! ​​
